At Mueller Design, architecture and construction are only part of what we do.

Our primary focus is on creating a sanctuary for you and your family - and what makes our work stand out is its bold and simple geometry coupled with a near-obsessive level of detailing.

Mueller Design’s philosophy is firmly rooted in the belief that success is the result of collaboration and dialogue - throughout the development process stresses we stress an open exchange of ideas both within the firm and more importantly, between the client and the firm.

The key to a successful residence is the integration of all systems including every screw, every lighting control-unit, and even the entire security system.

Every project starts the same way and whether you know a lot or a little about what you want to do, we'll help you decide what your next steps should be. Your project gets underway with a Pre-Design Consultation in which we'll discuss your needs, budget, and timeframe and  examine your building site in detail and prepare an analysis showing all of the important features that can impact the design of your home.

Design Development takes your design to a greater level of detail. Interior design also begins now - flooring, cabinets, countertops, lighting and many other choices are explored. With these detailed drawings and specifications, we'll be able to give you a more accurate projection of the construction cost and procede to the next phase with confidence.

Contruction Documents are prepared once all of the design decisions are made. The construction drawings - and specifications - are highly detailed to ensure that we get accurate, competetive prices from our bidders and clear communication to the builder of what we're trying to accomplish. Construction can begin once we've analyzed the bids and helped you select your contractor.

During construction we'll be on site on a regular basis as your expert "eyes and ears" on the jobsite, monitoring workmanship, schedule, and cost and generally helping to assure that the project is built as designed.
