Plymouth

plymouthInterior This 1926 historic preservation project recaptures the grandeur of a time gone by and romanticizes the richness of Italian Mediterranean architecture.

The interiors capture the richness of evening glow, accented with antiques and old world lighting, fabrics and draperies. Each room is detailed from hand-stenciled wall coverings, custom rugs, Venetian-plastered walls and exotic glazes.

La Presa

laPresa At the top of the Hollywood Hills, La Presa is a Mediterranean old world restoration that included a professional gourmet kitchen with hand-painted Italian tile, oak-paneled family room and master suite with sauna and steam.

Greenleaf

greenleaf-mueller-design-inc High above the hilltops in Hollywood, this Spanish-Mediterranean villa, once owned by Hollywood legend Rita Hayworth, is a marvel to any remodel with hillside structural issues.

Securing the foundation and adding additional footage to this soaring space is what separates Mueller Design from other architectural firms. We love hillside conditions.

Sierra Azul

sierraAzul-Mueller-Design Perched atop the rolling hills of Los Gatos, California Sierra Azul was a new construction hilllside project that included installation of a grape vineyard.

In keeping with Mueller Design's site-sensitive design philosophy, each room offers panoramic views of the the lush valleys surrounding this vineyard estate in Northern Califonia. Hand-woven textiles, organic stones, custom-crafted cabinetry and Venetian plaster walls were used in the residence to evoke an old world, traditional ambiance throughout.
