Deep in the heart of the Axel Mountains of Montana is a progressive community in need of a new high school for their 180 student body population.

This faciitliy is encapsulated with a glass atrium with classrooms and ancillary offices surrounding its gymnasium that pierces the atrium with its own majestic peak. The gymnasium has a dual purpose providing a community space for its town residents.

This facility, built with the latest in green technology, allows the students and faculty to enjoy year round light and scenery while actually using solar power to aid in heating and cooling the structure.

The pyramid not only recalls its beautiful mountain surroundings, but pays homage to the Axel indians who used majestic tee-pees as a place of power and thought mixed with harmony and contrition to aid in their decision making for their own community.
